Job Brief - The Head of Jordan is responsible for spearheading and promoting the growth of the market in order to make Abwaab a household name. This role will coordinate with stakeholders to ensure growth, defensibility, competitive advantage and student love. The candidate will be expected to handle pressure, juggle tasks, think creatively and work collaboratively with stakeholders to make Abwaab a hyper local experience. This role will report directly to the CEO/COO.


  • Work on building the local brand of Abwaab through the tone of voice of our campaigns, product marketing/localization and messaging.

  • Obsess about our students; focus groups, student calls, surveys, events, and be as close as possible to them.

  • Work with the sales team on driving subscriptions to get Abwaab into every household in Jordan. This includes running creative campaigns, being on the ground, sharing insights, keeping track of conversions, and monitoring pricing & student packages.

  • Coordinate with content teams to ensure that the relevant content is available to students in a timely manner.

  • Keep track of marketing campaigns, working directly with the marketing team to ensure budgets are maintained, targets are communicated and campaigns are executed as planned.

  • Monitor and manage the overall country budget.

  • Keep track of market updates such as announcements by the MOE, changing curriculums, and ensure that Abwaab is the closest product to the students in the market.

  • Be data driven, track engagement metrics, dive deep into our data, understand student behavior, and work on driving engagement with the product.

  • Coordinate directly with the support team to ensure student issues are taken care of, escalated and resolved appropriately and in a timely manner.

  • Keep track of market movements and offerings to share with relevant teams.

  • Make Abwaab the learning brand that every household loves in Jordan.
