Job Overview:
As the Head of Country, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading all aspects of our operations in the region. With a team of over 100 talented individuals, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a positive work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide visionary leadership to the Egypt team, aligning them with the company's goals and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Develop and execute comprehensive strategic plans for the Egyptian market, identifying opportunities for growth and market expansion.
Grow our business in Egypt to make it the leading learning institution in the country.
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, educational institutions, and industry partners.
Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and educational policies to inform strategic decision-making.
Work closely with the finance team to manage budgets, control costs, and drive financial performance.
Set and manage targets for the Egypt team, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth in the Egyptian market.
Work closely with central teams on operations and forecasting, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment with company-wide initiatives.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably as a Country Manager or Head of Operations.
Strong understanding of the local market, with the ability to build strong partnerships with key stakeholders
Strong understanding of the EdTech industry, with direct experience being a plus.
Experience in navigating dynamic and fast-paced work environments, utilizing analytical skills to drive decision-making agility.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with a track record of driving successful business outcomes.
Proven ability to manage and motivate large teams effectively.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
