Job Overview:

The General Manager (GM) will be responsible for overseeing Abwaab's business growth, focusing on P&L management, campaign optimization, strategic partnerships, and market expansion. With a strong tech background and understanding of startup culture, this individual will play a key role in scaling Abwaab, particularly during its formative years. The GM will drive cross-functional collaboration, establishing crucial relationships with government bodies, NGOs, and other significant market players, ultimately helping Abwaab generate more revenue and position itself as a market leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • P&L Ownership: Own the Profit and Loss (P&L) for Abwaab’s business operations, ensuring financial health through strategic management of costs, revenue, and campaigns.

  • Growth & Revenue Generation: Lead efforts to drive exponential revenue growth. Formulate strategies that optimize the company’s revenue potential, particularly in the initial scaling phases.

  • Campaign Management: Oversee the execution and performance of marketing campaigns. Ensure the right campaigns are run with optimal Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Return on Investment (ROI).

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key government officials, NGOs, and major industry players to enhance Abwaab’s presence in the market.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Lead the identification, negotiation, and establishment of partnerships with influential external entities that can accelerate Abwaab’s growth and market penetration.

  • Market Expansion & Scaling: Ensure the company scales efficiently, with a clear roadmap for growth, especially in the early years of expansion.

  • Leadership & Team Collaboration: Provide leadership to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on business goals and driving a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Tech Background: A strong understanding of technology and how it drives business growth, preferably in a tech or SaaS environment.

  • Experience in High-Growth Environments: Proven experience in scaling businesses rapidly, ideally in a GM, VP, or similar leadership role in a startup or hyper-growth company.

  • P&L Management: Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, optimizing costs, and driving revenue growth.

  • Campaign & Marketing Expertise: Demonstrated success in managing and optimizing marketing campaigns with a focus on CAC, ROI, and performance metrics.

  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to think long-term, plan strategically, and execute on those plans while adapting to fast-changing market dynamics.

  • Strong Networking & Relationship-Building: Proven track record of establishing relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, NGOs, and other influential market players.
