Role Overview
The Subject Lead – Guided Learning supports academic quality, coordinates daily operations, and manages a team of MTAs to deliver excellent educational experiences. The role combines academic guidance, operational efficiency, team management, and clear communication to ensure smooth lesson delivery, team development, and student satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership & Support
Provide subject-specific guidance and ongoing academic assistance to MTAs, ensuring high-quality educational delivery aligned with organizational standards.
Support content quality, curriculum alignment, and continuous improvement in teaching methods.
Operational Oversight
Supervise daily activities, follow-up tasks, and ensure smooth execution of guided learning processes.
Manage schedules, reporting, and documentation using advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Maintain organized operational workflows for efficiency and clarity.
Team Management & Development
Lead, motivate, and support approximately 15 MTAs to achieve academic and operational targets.
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and growth-oriented team culture.
Monitor performance, provide feedback, and identify development areas.
Communication & Collaboration
Maintain clear, constructive, and solution-oriented communication with MTAs, tutors, and stakeholders.
Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth coordination of tasks and activities.
Sales & Persuasion Expertise
Apply sales and persuasive communication techniques to promote platform offerings.
Encourage MTAs to engage in retention-focused strategies.
Training & Mentorship
Design and deliver structured training sessions for MTAs.
Offer mentorship and guidance to support professional development and skills growth.
Assessment Supervision
Oversee offline exam processes, ensuring compliance, fairness, and smooth execution.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education, relevant subject area, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1–3 years of experience in academic coordination, subject assistance, or a similar role.
Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and reporting tools.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.
