Role Overview:
An open opportunity for an HR officer to join our team in our mission that is defined for the purpose of changing the way students learn outside the classroom and unleashing the human potential in the MENA region.
We are looking for a candidate who is seeking an exciting and challenging experience in growing with a hyper EDtech company. A person with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work with a solid diverse group of people across our organization with a professional and positive attitude.
The ideal candidate will be working closely from our Headquarters to handle administrative tasks and contribute towards developing and maintaining a healthy and efficient workplace. A solid team player who is approachable, committed and has the character to keep developing and learning within our corporate team
Responsibilities:
Support and develop the implementation of our HR cycle and functions.
Develop and maintain team procedures and policies.
Assist in preparing job descriptions, initiating hiring processes and committees.
Assist and develop onboarding procedures.
Assist in performance management processes.
Maintain employee records and data.
Assist in daily people operations and be actively involved with team leads to maintain our team’s KPIs and OKRs
Review and maintain our working conditions and legal compliance
Requirements and skills:
Proven 1-2 years experience as an HR officer or other related HR position.
Knowledge of HR functions (Pay, benefits, recruitment, training, organizational structure…etc)
Understanding of Labor laws, social security and disciplinary procedures.
Proficient with Google sheets and MS office. Knowledge in HRMS and ATS is a plus.
Organization and time management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem solving and decision making.
Strong ethics and reliable initiator.
BSc / BA in business administration, social studies or relevant fields, certifications and training courses are a plus.
HR credentials.
